Feeling Tech Overwhelmed? Here’s Where to Start.

If you're running your business with a handful of tools, 17 tabs open, & a slight sense of panic… you're not alone.
Most of us didn’t start our businesses because we love systems. We just wanted to help people, sell a product, or make a little extra money. But somewhere along the way, we picked up a messy trail of spreadsheets, forms, apps, & automations... & suddenly, we’re in charge of tech we never signed up for.
If your digital world feels more duct-taped than streamlined, let’s take a breath together. Here’s where to start when it all feels like too much.
📥 Check how your people are getting to you.
If someone wants to work with you, order from you, or join your team... how easy is it? If you're sending people to DMs, comments, random links, or outdated forms, you're losing time (& probably opportunities). A clear, simple “Work With Me” form or lead capture page should do the talking for you... even while you sleep.
✨ Quick win: Create or clean up a form that gathers all the right info without back-and-forth.
📊 Know where your people are in the process.
Are they a customer? A team member? Just curious? If you’re trying to keep track in your head, (or worse... scattered sticky notes) it’s time to let a system do the heavy lifting. This doesn’t mean a full-blown CRM. A clean spreadsheet or Trello board can give you clarity at a glance.
✨ Quick win: Set up a simple client tracker so nothing (& no one) falls through the cracks.
🔁 Follow up like a human, not a robot.
You don’t need to automate everything, but having a follow-up system is a game changer. Whether it’s a text campaign, a reminder in Trello, or a weekly check-in task, building this into your rhythm will free up so much brain space.
✨ Quick win: Choose ONE place to track follow-ups. Stick to it for one week & see the difference.
☕ You don’t have to fix it all today...
But if you’re reading this & thinking, “Yep… this is exactly where I’m stuck,” then start small. I’ve created a Get Your Tech Together Checklist that walks you through the exact systems I use (& help my clients build), so you can see what’s working, what’s missing, & what to fix first.
Or, if you want me to walk through it with you & fix something live, book a Tech SOS Session. We’ll tackle one thing together, & I promise... it’ll feel lighter when we’re done. You’ve got this, & I’ve got you.
